Sishi. Introduce yourself to our audience and tell them a little bit about yourself.

My name is Sishi Rosch and I am currently living in Toronto, Canada with my wife. I've been a DJ since 1999 and a music producer since 2007. In the past 10 years, I have lived in Barcelona, Berlin, Miami and Guatemala City. I currently own and run 4 independent underground House/Electronic record labels, 2 of them with my long time friend.

We notice that you are a very active Producer, DJ & Label Owner, how do you find the time to focus your attention on each craft?

I try to be as active as I possibly can but it can be quite tedious at times juggling 4 record labels, family life and also my personal work, but I absolutely love music so its really not too hard finding the motivation to do it. This last year I have taken a step back from DJ'ing and producing as much as past years and really focusing on my forthcoming instrumental Hip-Hop album and also A&R'ing my label's better.

Tell us about your experience in Miami. What was the scene like?

Miami is like a second home to me and always will be. I have been going there regularly since I was 5 years old so you can imagine how dear that city is to me. Like I have said in the past, the vibe is really dope, its an incredibly vibrant town and there's a bit of everything for everyone I always say, from raw underground parties to over-hyped commercial events.

We would like to know more about the future of electronic music production. Are you noticing changes within software and hardware that you would like to talk about?

I think a really cool thing that has happened lately in that sense has been the introduction of the new AIRA (Roland) line. It was quite innovative and amazing in my opinion, but to be honest this is a pretty deep subject and I could talk about it for days since I am a gear junkie, so let's leave it at that for now.

Where do you see opportunities for collaborations between various genres, live instruments, vocalists and electronic music production?

The possibilities of fusing musical genres, collaborations between artists and live shows are basically endless. This is the beauty of music, there are no limits or boundaries of what you can do. It's like I always say, "There is always a blank canvas before a masterpiece is made."

Can we expect any upcoming releases in the next few months? Tell us about what you have going on?

I am going to be releasing a limited run of Acid House EP's on my record labels in the next few months. I also have a few remixes on the way as well. Other than that, my 'Cuts from the Vault' album will be next early 2018.

What are your favorite sneakers?

Damn, tough question. Probably Nike Air Max 1's.

Sishi, in a few sentences. Tell us about this mix you made for us. Where did you get your inspiration. Is there anything special you want the audience to know?

This mix is straight up raw ghetto house. I wanted to make something you could listen to in your house, your ride and also at the club. Hope y'all dig it.
